The strong and historic U.S.-Israeli relationship is based on shared democratic values, economic prosperity, regional security and religious significance. Israel has and will always remain resilient in the face of those who seek to oppress the nation of Israel including Hamas, Iran and other maligned actors. The U.S.-Israeli partnership is pivotal to protecting our homelands, countering the proliferation of state-sponsored terrorism and radicalism, and equipping our soldiers with the best technology to combat mutual threats. It is more important now than ever before to uphold our ironclad alliance to defeat attacks on the Jewish state and efforts to weaken our strategic defenses.

An integral part of my faith is reverence for the Jewish people and support for Israel. The Jewish community has historically been led by servants of the people who seek to shelter, feed, protect and care for Israel. Furthermore, Israel’s history of enduring painful sacrifices while pursuing peace despite attempts to isolate and boycott the Jewish state is heroic, encouraging and demands my admiration.

I am committed to standing shoulder to shoulder with Israel as a member of Congress to ensure comprehensive U.S. aid packages, security assistance and political support. 

As Congressman I will:

Support Israel’s Iron Dome. We know what works and the short-range missile defense system currently in place is critical for intercepting rockets fired from extremists in Gaza and elsewhere. The U.S. must continue to support replenishing Israel’s stock of interceptor missiles to ensure a strong regional air defense.

Condemn antisemitic rhetoric. I oppose the antagonism found in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) narrative and will work to combat this harmful rhetoric. Alternatively, I will encourage efforts to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue to advance security and peace in the Middle East.

Support the Abraham Accords. Enhancing diplomatic relations between Israel and the surrounding countries is pivotal for regional security. I will continue to urge more countries to normalize relations with Israel and focus on tangible benefits that can be achieved as a result.

Maximize pressure and sanctions on those who threaten Israel. I will fight to end funding and implement sanctions on any state that sponsors terrorism or teaches children to hate the Jewish community. 

Expedite the delivery of the KC-46A Tanker. Aerial refueling capabilities will extend Israeli operations, support regional stability, and provide interoperability with U.S. capabilities.

Support bunker buster capabilities. Equipping aircraft and submarines with capabilities to defend our forward operations in the Middle East is a must. I believe we must be equipped to destroy ammunition bunkers and other subterranean threats as a key deterrent to adversarial aggression. 

Promote International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance initiatives. We must pay closer attention to combat antisemitism. IHRA leadership is a leader on Holocaust education. I will support their definition of antisemitism. 

Champion Israeli interest on the international stage. International bodies continue to present one-sided bias intended to harm and undermine the complexities of security and defensive actions needed to secure Israel. While no country is above scrutiny, I will support pronouncements and actions on the international stage that strengthens Israel’s right to selfdefense and advances the goal of peace.
